Going "All In"
3 Questions to Help You Decide to be In or Out
There are times in a game, competition, situation, or life that we are challenged to see if we can go “All in.” The biggest challenge for many of us is when to decide to truly go “All in.” We cannot physically go “All In” in every endeavor that we have because if we go “All In” every time, we will eventually go broke and be “All Out.”
To determine whether we should go “All In” or be “All Out,” ask yourself these three questions:
1. Does this align with our core values and purpose? (This can help determine if we are pursuing something based on emotion, pressure, or short-term gain.)
2. Do we currently have the time, energy, and resources to give this our best effort? (This can help us from compromising the quality of what we already value.)
3. If we go “All In” and succeed will this move us closer to who we want to become and if we fail, would the lessons be worth the investment?
Use these three questions to help push you to be “All In” or “All Out.”
